Heart T Ranch Performance Horses is a full service show training facility. Located in beautiful Boyd, Montana, we specialize in the development of Non-Pro riders and their horses in western and english disciplines. We call our training philosophy Natural Communication.

What is Natural Communication?
Natural communication is not a new concept. Horsemen for hundreds of years have used training theories involving horse psychology. Unfortunately, with the explosion of the technological age, trends have drifted toward restraint training using “devices” instead of horse savvy. Draw reins, big bits, chains, and other so called “training aids” cause fear and distrust in the horse. Natural Communication uses savvy and communication links such as rope halters, snaffle bit, bosal, and an understanding of equine psychology to communicate information to the horse.

How can Heart T Ranch help my horse and me?
Through our riding lesson program, Heart T Ranch will help you learn new ways of approaching the training of your horse. You will better understand why your horse reacts to situations the way he does, and show you how to correct it. Establish communication with your horse, and gain his respect! If your horse is accepted into show training or one of our Young Horse Programs, he will learn to be a confident, obedient performer – in and out of the show ring.
