Daniel Wildin
Daniel joined
the Heart T Ranch training staff in 1998. Raised in
Billings, Montana, Daniel grew up loving all animals. He
graduated from Montana State University - Bozeman in 2001
with a degree in Animal Science. His knowledge of equine
nutrition and breeding are irreplaceable to the health
program at Heart T Ranch. Daniel is a gifted trainer,
specializing in the development of young horses in Western
and English disciplines. Many of our clients have commented
on his “limitless amount of patience” with young horses!
Though he specializes in developing young horses, he has
also had a great deal of success in the show ring. In 2001,
Daniel won Three National Championships at the Andalusian
World Show – Trail, Western Pleasure, and Doma Vaquera
Basico. In 2009, Daniel and Dual Exhaust Kit were
10th
in
the nation for AQHA Jr. Versatility Ranch Horse. He has won
numerous state awards in various working western events.
Daniel is specializing in the working cow events, though we
can still count on him to put a great foundation on our
English horses as well! Daniel is an outstanding farrier,
having apprenticed with Tony Yost for 7 years. He has
experience in shoeing all types of performance horses, as
well as corrective work. When not showing and training
horses, Daniel is an avid bow hunter!
